4-AcO-MiPT ( also known as mipracetin) is a synthetic psychedelic tryptamine. It is the acetylated form of 4-HO-MiPT (also known as miprocin) and is a higher homolog of 4-AcO-DMT, 4-AcO-MET and 4-AcO-DET. Researchers synthesise these substances so they act primarily as prodrugs for their respective hydroxylated counterparts. However, researchers are debating as to whether they possess their own innate activity.
4-AcO-MiPT has very little information on the human pharmacology or toxicity. This is because researchers have done little research on its properties. However, researchers have developed analytical methods for its detection. Today, users use it recreationally or as an entheogenic substance. Online research chemical vendors sell and distribute it at cheap prices. Mipracetin is relatively uncommon and has very little history of human usage.
Chemistry of 4-AcO-MiPT
4-AcO-MiPT is a synthetic indole alkaloid molecule of the tryptamine class, so it shares a core structure comprised of a bicylic indole heterocycle. This heterocycle is attached at R3 to an amino group via an ethyl side chain. An acetoxy (AcO) functional group CH3COO− substitutes 4-AcO-MiPT at R4 of its indole heterocycle.
Also, it contains isopropyl and methyl chains bound to the terminal amine RN of its tryptamine backbone (MiPT). 4-AcO-MiPT is the N-substituted methisopropyl homologue of 4-HO-DMT (psilocin). 4-AcO-MiPT is the acetate ester analog of MiPT and the N-substituted methisopropyl analog of 4-AcO-DMT.
Mipracetin effects
-Excessive yawning and pupil dilation.
-Sedation; the Tripper has a high energy level as concerns its physical effects. Most people consider 4-AcO-MiPT to be relaxing, stoning and mildly sedating. But, drowsiness and uncontrollable yawning accompany this sense of sedation.
-Spontaneous tactile sensations ; 4-AcO-MiPT has a “body high” which is pleasurable, warm, soft and all-encompassing tingling sensation.
-Runny nose and watery eyes.
